One-on-One Sessions
Private instruction can offer your son or daughter tailored instruction and more direct accountability. The foundation of the private instruction is grounded in the same curriculum as the seminar; however, the material and test review is paced according to the student's needs and skill level. Just like our seminars, private instruction focuses on teaching the content and a variety of testing strategies to attain the student's highest score.
Our instructors, Adam Snoza, Patrick Coyle, and Andrea Roberts, are all fully ACT Certified Educators and are qualified in all ACT subject areas. This means that you won't need to align schedules of multiple tutors to receive instruction across the subject areas.
Cost
To cover all subject areas, private instruction is 15 ninety-minute sessions at $135 per session. For students needing more time with our tutors, extra sessions can be added.
*$25 cancellation fee if canceled within 24 hours of scheduled session
Travel
Our tutors travel to you, so sessions can be held at your residence or a nearby public space such as a coffee shop or library. For students outside of the Omaha metropolitan area, tutoring is available online.
Meet The Tutors
Adam Snoza
Adam started in the classroom as an English teacher in 2007. He brings his experience of working with a wide variety of students to his 1-on-1 tutoring. He prides himself on his student engagement to keep students motivated to learn.
Though very experienced in English and reading as a former English teacher, Adam has earned ACT Certifications in science and math and has even written for the ACT in both subjects.
Patrick Coyle
When Pat started in ACT test prep in 1996, he only provided 1-on-1 tutoring. Pat excels at using the Socratic method to assess situations and suggest solutions for students.
Also trained as a Physicist, Pat knows all things STEM. He offers tutoring in AP Chem, AP Physics, AP Calc, and AP stats; however, his greatest satisfaction comes from improving a student's ACT English score since it is a skill that is undertaught and extremely valuable in the future.
Andrea Roberts
Andrea is passionate about helping others in their educational pursuits, and to aid in this, she has been certified as an instructor in the full ACT test by The Association of Test Preparation.
Aware that every mind is different, Andrea strives to make the material accessible to everyone. Sometimes it just takes a different perspective to make everything suddenly make sense. This realization is Andrea’s ultimate goal in every session.
